Tanaka Libary
Welcome to the Tanaka Elementary Library, where we foster and encourage a love of reading and learning. Our library is designed to provide a welcoming and inviting space that motivates students to explore new worlds and ideas. We pride ourselves on having an extensive collection of books, ranging from classic literature to new and trending titles, alongside educational resources to support classroom learning. Policies
Students kindergarten through fifth grade come to library once every seven days. Books are due the next time they come to the library. Students do not check out if they do not return the book or books. There are no fines for late books. The only time payment is required is if the book is lost or damaged beyond repair. Please contact the library at 702-799-2504 with any questions.
Kindergarten--1 book (Students will not bring them home until after winter break)
First Grade--1 book

"Read On Cool Kids!"
Your child will be bringing home a ROCK bookmark. There are reading tasks to complete. A new bookmark will come home every other month. When the bookmark is turned in they will receive a prize. If all four bookmarks are completed they will receive a ROCK pin and a book.
If at least 100 students turn in all 4 bookmarks, we will get to shave
